Now when it comes to blogging, I'm a whole-hearted proponent of leveling. You see, I go through productivity spurts. Some weeks, I have so much to write that I blog almost every day. Other weeks, well, I get sidetracked. I'm easily sidetracked.
Now if I were a hardcore blogger, I'd space my productivity and set aside time every day to write. Uh huh. I'll get right on that. I barely have time some days to eat dinner, much less find an hour to write.
So to keep from publishing 5 articles 1 week and then nothing for 2 weeks, I use a form of leveling. I schedule 1 new post every Tuesday and Friday. That spaces out my productivity so that you think I'm hard at work every day when I'm really goofing off at the park with my dog (see dog pictured).
Now, if you read the post about 1 click promotions, then you also know that I don't run from site to site announcing my latest genius post. To keep those announcements from happening while you are deep in the middle of your beauty sleep, I also schedule the time of day for during lunch. That puts those announcements during the day when most the most eyeballs are on Twitter/Facebook/etc.
For most blog software, you can schedule a post in the Post Options below the input box. Set the date and time to match your schedule, then you publish it.
Now, I know it's hard to wait for those posts to come out so people can tell me how brilliant you are. However, whoever said "Keep them guessing" didn't write a blog where it's so easy for people to tune out.
